A warm hello to you all,
Your performance in Istanbul last Friday (april 10th) was astonishing. However, I was really disturbed by the noise of the audience even though I was in the first raw. I really feel that it was not the place to listen to such great music. I wish you had performed in the Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall which has perfect acoustics and always a quiet audience :))It is very close to Taksim as well. I hope that in the future I have the chance to listen to your marvellous music in a better environment.

the concert @ citi center was truly amazing. and so is the cd. special thanks to ivar berix for the cd (now i'm sure he'll remember)
the cd is fantastic. coool stuff.
do hope to see you guys come again to india... especially chennai!
and i was wondering if... if u could maybe guide me with some nice pieces in jazz for piano playing.. music sheets, works of artists.... anything... i'm really interested, especially after listening to the cd.

Was there at your performance at Citi Center, Chennai. It was awesome, and it was my first time I was actually listening & infact seeing so many diff wind instruments. Loved all the diff pieces you guys performed. Waiting for your next Far East Revisited Tour

Thanks for a great evening of music at AES! Your combination of Ellington classics, personal compositions, and pieces influenced by your far eastern trip, definitely took us all on a magic carpet ride. Thank you for a wonderful concert at the American Embassy School Theatre. It was phenomenal musicianship, wonderful pieces. My mother was astounded - she had never heard anything like it in her 73 years. Your blog is a treat to read, to be able to appreciate the stories behind your music and tour.

I was at Lanmark yesterday evening in your Jazz Tunes concert. That was really an amazing music i have ever heard. You are really revisiting the fareast musics of Duke Elington. We were at the Citicentre performance yesterday & it was great. We in chennai are starved for performances like these & so what you offered us was lovely..the music, the format, everything. And yes..your rendering of Aaj ki raat was the icing on the cake..superb! Do come back...
